Your files remain yours

You retain your rights to the images you select. Use files you own or have permission to process. Selecting a photo does not transfer ownership to CompressMyPhotos. Processing occurs locally as described in our Privacy Policy.

Check your results

Compression may change visual detail, dimensions, color information and metadata. Target sizes are best-effort limits, not guaranteed results. Keep your original files and check every download before submitting, publishing or printing it. The tool does not certify passport photos, official documents, archival fidelity or complete metadata removal.

Availability and limitations

The current tool is free to use and provided as available. Browser capabilities, device memory and software changes affect results. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Responsible use

Do not use the site for unlawful activity, attempt to compromise its infrastructure or deliberately disrupt access for others. Local processing does not remove your responsibility for how you use your images.
